Meet the Veterinarian

Dr. Johnson has over 10 years of experience in providing high quality veterinary medicine to small animal patients.  After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Animal Sciences, she went on to earn a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.

Upon graduation, Dr. Johnson served in the United States Army as a Captain in the Veterinary Corps, providing care to military working dogs from around the world.  After leaving active duty, she went on to work in several small animal veterinary hospitals in New England before settling in Western Massachusetts and opening The Village Vet.

There's No Place Like Home

In a traditional hospital, your time with the doctor is limited.  A house call visit allows for undivided attention to you and your pet.  No busy waiting rooms. No interruptions.

I bring all of the supplies necessary to keep your pet up to date on vaccinations, perform diagnostic testing, and manage urgent and chronic conditions... all from the comfort of your (pet's) own home.
